The First and Second Characteristics of the Bride of Christ

The Bride of Christ is profound admiration for the Lord. In John 17:25-26, "O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known you; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them." In other words, we must follow after Christ to get to know Him. In a way, we are in the dating process with our Savior. When you date someone, you try to get to know everything about them. It is the same way with Jesus Christ. We must read our bibles, talk to him, and spend time with Him. We are visually trying to make "wedding plans" with our Lord and Savior on earth. We must try to follow God's will for our lives.
Also, the Bride of Christ is trustworthy in a covenant of faithfulness. We must trust that God knows best for us, and He will provide for us our needs. In 1 Corinthians 4:1-2, "Let a man regard us this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy." If we are trusting to God, then that will transits into our lives in our financials, our families, our friendships, and our workplaces. If we do everything as unto God, then we would never do anything half way. I was always taught by my mother that no matter activity I am doing, you do it as unto the Lord. I still use this motto in my adulthood.
