Third Characteristics of the Bride of Christ

In order to be the Bride of Christ, we must have a zeal for Christ. We must be about the Father's business. We develop the zeal for Christ through experience. What is zeal? Zeal means great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective. In Romans 10:2-3, "For I testy about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge. For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to righteousness of God." We must be on a genuine spiritual experience with Christ. We must be willing to make time for Him in our daily lives. We must show other God's love without any judgments, like Christ does with us on a daily basis. When we experience Christ's love, we experience change to develop our soul-man. When we have the zeal for Christ, we are willing to step out of our comfort zone to reach people for the kingdom of God. We are Christ's hands and feet, and we need to be about the Father's business. We cannot tell the world of Christ's love and grace without experience it ourselves. We must know Him as our provider, our Savior, our Lord, and our everything. With this in mind, we must develop a zeal for Christ in our daily work.

Prayer:

Father,

I pray that you create a zeal for You in me. I ask that the zeal grow more and more each day of my life until I don't want anyone more than You. Also, I ask for Your knowledge of my pathways and knowledge of You personally, Father. May we have hunger for You more each day. May I not get detracted by today's world and I only see You in people. May I thirst after You, and may You give me Your water. Jesus, I know You are the Living Water. May I drink of Your Living Water each day.
